Supporting NDIS participants across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
Choosing a provider is about more than finding someone who offers the right service. It is also about finding people you feel comfortable with and confident in.
At GlowAbility, we focus on building genuine relationships, listening carefully and providing support that reflects the individual rather than taking the same approach with everyone.
As a family-owned provider, we value consistency, honest communication and taking the time to get to know the people we support.
We also work closely with families, Support Coordinators, Behaviour Support Practitioners and allied health professionals where needed, helping everyone stay connected around the participant’s goals.
Choosing a provider can come with a lot of questions. These answers cover some of the things participants, families and Support Coordinators often want to understand before deciding whether GlowAbility is the right fit.
We look beyond availability and consider the participant’s personality, goals, routines, communication style, culture, interests and support needs. Our aim is to match participants with support workers they can feel comfortable with and build a genuine, consistent relationship with over time.
We want participants to feel safe, respected and comfortable with the people supporting them. If something does not feel right, we encourage you to tell us. We will listen to your concerns and work with you to find a better fit where possible.
It starts with listening. We take time to get to know the participant, their goals, strengths, routines, interests, culture, preferences and the way they communicate. Where appropriate, we also work with family members, Support Coordinators, Behaviour Support Practitioners and allied health professionals to build a clearer understanding of the person and the support they need.
Yes. Support should be able to change as the participant’s needs, routines and goals change. We regularly communicate with participants and the people involved in their support so adjustments can be discussed and made where appropriate.
GlowAbility is culturally inclusive and we respect the individual backgrounds, beliefs, routines and preferences of the people we support. We take time to understand what is important to each participant and consider those preferences when planning and providing support.
The timeframe can vary depending on the type of support required, the participant’s needs, location and suitable staff availability. Once we receive your enquiry, we can talk through what you are looking for and give you a clearer idea of the next steps and likely timeframe.
